It is very well know that bread is not recommended for our silhouette. But what about eating a no bread delicious sandwich? If you work much and you have no time for making at home a diet or at least a healthy menu, here’s some options to replace the bread in your day by day alimentation.
The combinations are many, both for vegetarians and for carnivores. In this article I propose you three meatless recipes that are very easy to do and also very healthy.
- Paste made by cheese and egg, totally cooled in the fridge overnight
- ½ baked red pepper
- 1 riped tomato
- 4 tablespoons of guacamole
- A few leaves of lettuce (you can use arugula, spinach or dandelion)
Cut the cheese and egg pudding into 4 slices. It should be easy for you to do that, if the paste is cooled enough. Smear slices of sandwich with guacamole to form two sandwiches. Fill them with baked red pepper, tomato and salad leaves, and it’s done!
Hummus wrap with vegetables
- Humus (you can buy it for the supermarket or you can make it by yourself at home)
- 1 cup of black quinoa seeds
- 2 chopped carrots
- ½ cup of chopped zucchini
- ½ cup of sliced red pepper
- 1 sliced avocado
For the wrap:
- 4 large leaves of cabbage
First, boil the cabbage leaves to make them soft. Mix all the vegetables with the humus and then fill the cabbage leaves with this vegetable mixture. Rule them like a pita bread or like a burrito and your no bread sandwich is done.
Sweet potato sandwich
This one is a simplier recipe for the one of you who don’t have the patience or the time to cook. So, cut 2 slices for about 1 cm of sweet potato and put them on the grill, at high heat for several minutes. After the potato has cooled, between the slices, put a beef burger, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of avocado. You will get a highly nourishing and healthy sandwich that can be consumed for dinner of lunch.
