How To Remove Facial Hair Using 5 Effective Remedies

Facial hair in women is no longer a taboo subject and is not to be treated as a joke either. All women have body and facial hair, but their facial hair is usually less noticeable. Still, this rule does not apply to some women who have to deal with coarse and extensive hair growth. This is because they produce more testosterone as they should. It is not uncommon and most of the times it’s neither a health issue.

The good news is that excess hair growth can be treated at home, with the help of some very easy remedies that can be found in any household and do not require professional help:
1. Egg White Mask. Because of its sticky consistency when dry, egg whites act as wax and stick to the facial hair that is further peeled of easily. Eggs are full of protein that has a lot of health benefits for your skin. The recipe for the egg white mask is rather easy: mix an egg white with a tablespoon of cornstarch and sugar. Beat until it’s smooth and apply to your face for 15-20 minutes. When it’s hard enough and dry, peel it off quickly. Try it twice a week for the best results.
2. Sugar and Lemon Face Mask. This is one of the most traditional hair removal remedies ever. Warm sugar sticks to the hair and rips it off quickly and with no damage to the skin, while lemon works as a natural bleach and leaves the rest of the hair with a lighter tone. To get the best results, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar, with a pinch of fresh lime juice and 4-5 teaspoons of water. Heat it and when it all gets sticky let it cool down. Apply the paste on the affected areas and let it dry for about 15-20 minutes, rinse with cold water. Use at least 3-4 times a week.
3. Lemon and Honey. Pretty much as sugar, honey does the same hair-loss wonders. In a bowl mix 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of organic honey and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, and keep it over the heat until it becomes paste like. Put aside for cooling and then apply it on the affected areas. Grab a strip and pull the hair out in the opposite direction. This natural wax is far less hazardous than any chemical based ones.
4. Potato and Lentil. Potatoes help lighten and brighten the skin which improves the skin quality overall. So, get started by soaking some yellow lentil overnight with a teaspoon of honey and a pinch of lime juice. Extract the juice out of a raw potato and mix it with the paste formed out of the soaked lentils. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it to dry for about 15-20 minutes, after which you can rub it out together with the unwanted hair.
5. Papaya and Turmeric. The enzymes found in papaya inhibit the excess hair growth and thus are great for your problems! All you need to do is get a papaya all peeled up, cut in small pieces and smashed into a fine paste. Mix the paste with a tablespoon of turmeric powder. Rub it on your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water and apply a light moisturizer. Try at least twice a week.
