The Japanese healing method came to Western alternative medicine in the 1950s by an American-born American doctor, Mary Burmeister, after meeting Jiro Murai, a Jin Shin Jyutsu expert in Japan.

  • The middle finger – anger
  • The ring finger – sadness
  • Little finger – a bad image on yourself

The last two fingers are the ones to be massaged if you are experiencing stress or depression!

All you have to do is hold your finger with a slight pressure that corresponds to your mood and keep it like that for 2-5 minutes. Breathe deeply, then resumes this action until you don’t feel that pressure on the body anymore.
